reminder of the great sacrifices made by our soldiers to ensure the
safety and security of our country.
Shanti Stupa - Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white - domed stupa on a
hilltop.

En route, admire the spectacular views of the never ending
snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass
(18,302 feet) after spending some time at Khardungla,
proceed to Nubra.
Diskit Monastery also known as Deskit Gompa or Diskit
Gompa is the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery
(gompa) in Diskit, in the Nubra Valley in the Leh district of
Ladakh, India.

After Breakfast Visit to Turtuk Village.
With drive landscape, Exotic village. Turtuk this village
is about 85 kms from Hundar, Nubra Valley and can
take about 3 to 4 hours to reach here, the total
population of Turtuk is just 4000 and follow islam as
about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan
and speak Baltistan language.
Explore this beautiful village and explore the life here,
we will go for a walk around the village and also meet
the people.

morning & Proceed to Pangong Lake.
Some patches are bad but the experience will be great.
The road after Shyok is good but very steep. After
Durbuk, take left towards Tangtse and follow the
traditional route.
Drive further to Pangong Lake one of the largest and
most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas.
Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within
Chinese Territory and only one third part lies in India.

Leh.
On the way Visit Chang La Pass - Chang La is a high mountain pass in
Ladakh at an elevation of 5,391.3024 m or 17,688.000 ft in the Ladakh Range
between Leh and the Shyok River valley.
Later drive back to Leh by visiting Thiksay monasteries and Shay Palace.
Thikse Gompa or Thikse Monastery (also transliterated from Ladakhi as
Tiksey, Thiksey or Thiksay) is a gompa (Tibetan-style monastery) affiliated
with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in
Thiksey approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) east of Leh in Ladakh, India.
