Namika La or Namika Pass (el. 3,700 m or 12,139 ft), Pillar of the Sky Pass, is a high mountain pass in the Himalayas Zaskar Range in India along the Srinagar-Leh highway at 34°22′N 76°35′E. Namika La is one of two high passes between Kargil and Leh, the other is the even higher Fotu La Pass. Fotu La or Fatu La is a Mountain Pass on the Srinagar - Leh highway in the Zanskar Range of the Himalayas in India. At an elevation of 4108 meters (13,478 ft), it is the highest point on the highway, surpassing the famed Zoji La. After Breakfast Visit Near Leh Sightseeing. Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable. The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskar River and Indus Rivers merge.At Sangam you can enjoy rafting on Zangskar river. Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, most revered place where Guru Nanak Dev ji, founder of the Sikh religion is believed to have conquered a demon. Hall of Fame is a museum constructed by the Indian Army in memory of the brave Indian soldiers who laid down their lives defending the motherland in the Indo - Pak wars. The Hall of Fame museum is located on the Leh - Kargil Road, about 4 Km from the city of Leh. This road is considered to be the Highest Motorable Road of the world. En route, admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass (18,302 feet) after spending some time at Khardungla, proceed to Nubra. After Breakfast Visit to Turtuk Village. with drive landscape, Exotic village. Turtuk this village is about 85 kms from Hundar, Nubra Valley and can take about 3 to 4 hours to reach here, the total population of Turtuk is just 4000 and follow islam as about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and speak Baltistan language. After breakfast, we get up early morning & Proceed to Leh. Later drive back to Leh by visiting Thiksay monasteries and Shay Palace. After breakfast, we get up early morning & Proceed to Pangong Lake. Some patches are bad but the experience will be great. The road after Shyok is good but very steep. After Durbuk, take left towards Tangtse and follow the traditional route. Drive further to Pangong Lake one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within Chinese Territory and only one third part lies in India. On the way Visit Chang La Pass - Chang La is a high mountain pass in Ladakh at an elevation of 5,391.3024 m or 17,688.000 ft in the Ladakh Range between Leh and the Shyok River valley. Back to Leh.
